Irvington Seafood Recalls Crab Meat Over Potential Listeria Contamination

Irvington Seafood has issued a recall for certain crab meat products due to potential Listeria contamination, according to an announcement from the FDA.

The recall affects one-pound packages of the company’s “Jumbo, lump, finger, and claw meat,” all marked with license number AL 111-C. The recalled packages also have specific batch numbers written on the bottom: 130, 131, 132, 134, 137, 139, 141, 144, 145, 146, 148, and 150.

Although no illnesses have been reported, consumers who have purchased these products are advised to dispose of them or return them for a refund.
