October 24, 2023 – A number of San Diego residents have become sickened by Salmonella poisoning after consuming raw milk produced by a dairy in Fresno, CA.
San Diego health officials have begun investigating a number of claims linking Salmonella to raw, unpasteurized milk produced by Raw Farm LLC, a Fresno, California-based dairy. Initial reports state that at least nine individuals were infected with Salmonella after drinking the raw milk. It is unknown at this time if more individuals have been infected.
Victims of the Salmonella-infected raw milk include a range of ages, from 1 to 41 years old. At least three children have been hospitalized.
